There are five Police Basic Training Institutes in the Netherlands Senior Police Officer Designed to equip senior police officers for management positions. Four types of courses and three study trajectories. A course takes between 2 and 4 years, depending on candidates’ qualifications and experience. There is one Netherlands Police Academy.
