As a first responder, you are summoned to the scene of an emergency. You have a duty to respond to the emergency scene, obeying traffic laws that govern your actions. You commit a breach or duty by failing to obey these laws. The result is an incident in which a child is struck by the vehicle you are driving. Therefore, your actions are the cause of the accident. The accident results in damage to the child in the form of injury.
