Atmospheric, Oceanic & Planetary Physics, University of Oxford A Dudhia MIPAS QWG15 ESRIN 23-25 Jan 2008 Page 3 Look Up Tables for absorption cross-sections generated using a line-by-line model, the RFM RFM currently undergoing a significant recoding to handle various HITRAN 2004 features such as new molecules, new file formats, and line-mixing flags - completion ~ months After that, include line-mixing model either to recalculate current pT LUTs, or to select new pT microwindows LUTs with CO2 Line-mixing

Medium Term: additional molecules with lower signal/noise but still retrievable using standard ORM. Three stage process Microwindow Selection Run with Oxford code Run with ORM code New Target Species
