What is SmartCheck? IIIIt peeks underneath passenger’s clothing to search for guns, bombs or liquid explosives. IIIIn this device special privacy software intentionally blurs the image. IIIIt creates an outline of a body that is clear enough to see a collarbone, bellybutton, or weapon.  S S S SmartCheck flattens details of revealing contours.

3. How does SmartCheck works?  Security officials are examining the head to toe images with a screener in a closed booth.  This machine generates about as much radiation as a passenger would get flying for about two minutes at about 30,000 feet.

4. Advantages  SmartCheck poses no health hazard.  It can detect liquid or plastic explosives.  The X-ray image would be destroyed immediately.

5. Disadvantages  It is not strong enough to penetrate much beyond the skin, so it can’t find weapons that may be hidden in body cavities.  Extra radiation is not good for our selves.

8. Conclusion  For enhancing the security of the airport SmartCheck is beyond expectation.  People who aren’t comfortable with a Pat- down, they may appreciate SmartCheck.
