What is SmartCheck? IIIIt peeks underneath passenger’s clothing to search for guns, bombs or liquid explosives. IIIIn this device special privacy software intentionally blurs the image. IIIIt creates an outline of a body that is clear enough to see a collarbone, bellybutton, or weapon. S S S SmartCheck flattens details of revealing contours.

How does SmartCheck works? Security officials are examining the head to toe images with a screener in a closed booth. This machine generates about as much radiation as a passenger would get flying for about two minutes at about 30,000 feet.

Advantages SmartCheck poses no health hazard. It can detect liquid or plastic explosives. The X-ray image would be destroyed immediately.

Disadvantages It is not strong enough to penetrate much beyond the skin, so it can’t find weapons that may be hidden in body cavities. Extra radiation is not good for our selves.

Conclusion For enhancing the security of the airport SmartCheck is beyond expectation. People who aren’t comfortable with a Pat- down, they may appreciate SmartCheck.
