History 1951 marked one of the most successful examples of cross-cultural PR and fundraising efforts with the sale of Israeli government bonds to institutional and individual investors across the United States.

History In 1952, vice presidential candidate Richard Nixon used television to address his critics and answer charges of financial impropriety. In 1953, the United States Information Agency was created to disseminate news and cultural information abroad.
