zhong7 Simultaneous interpreting practice students work in pair A student reads a sentence, another student interprets it. A student read a short paragraph, another student interprets it. The students do the same thing but they should increase the speed Then the material is changed into the scientific one, or a speech etc. Using authentic material Listen to a tape recorder, t

zhong8 Simultaneous interpreting practice Students work individually using authentic material Listen to a tape recorder and translate sentence by sentence (e.g. from TOEFL) Listen to a tape recorder for a short paragraph – let the students stop after some time – after an idea is completed Let the students practice with the material for seminar or news etc.
