Breastplates The rods on a breastplate are traditionally made from bone hairpipe or buffalo horn. Breastplates were originally worn as armor by Plains warriors, but today they are only worn for ceremonial purposes by Indian men.

Materials Used In Clothing Clothing is made from buckskins or other animal skins and furs Head pieces are made using feathers Beads are commonly used in necklaces, headpieces, and even clothing. Some beads are made from animal bones such as bear claws
