3 3 Video-Conferencing for AJET JOINNET JOINNET JOINNET BREEZE MEETING BREEZE MEETING BREEZE MEETING BREEZE MEETING At the comprehensive learning platform for AJET Digital School (AJDS), we offer two sets of powerful video-conferencing systems for international collaborative learning, Joinnet and Breeze Meeing. Please choose and make use of either of them by following the instruction slides.

5 5 Step 1. Welcome to AJDS 1.1 Please enter the URL as http://ajds.nsysu.edu.tw in your browser. http://ajds.nsysu.edu.tw 1.2 Please click the button for WYM2006 to enter the virtual classroom WYM2006

6 6 Step 2. Video Conferencing 2.2 Then remember to download, install, and execute the software (English version). 2.3 For meeting participants/ non-moderators, follow Step 3.1, while Step 3.2 for moderators/chairperson 2.1 Please click JOINNET to download and install the software for video-conferencingJOINNET

7 7 Step 3.1 For Meeting Participant’s End 1. Click Interactive 2. Then click Online discussion. You will find a window popping up for real-time chat. 3. If your moderator/chairperson (only one can moderate the meeting) initiates video conferencing, you will be able to talk with him/her or your teammates face-to-face.

8 8 Step 3.2 For Moderator’s End 1. Click Interactive 3. Select Chatroom Setting. 2. Click the red arrow to see the function for Chatroom Setting. 4. Select the third mode, Teacher & Student two way video. 5. Click OK and start to interact with your students or international partners. Remember to tell your students to follow step 3.1. **Only one chairperson needs to trigger this part. The others should identify themselves as participants/students.

9 9 Step 4. Congratulations! You make it! Students and teachers may test video conferencing in Japan as well. Also, you may enjoy our WYM virtual classroom and say hello to us in our discussion board. Hope to see you soon!!

10 10 Step 5. Tip for Interaction at AJDS 1. Click school x people to see the list of online users. 2. Send messages to your online partners by clicking Message. For real time chatting, you may click Paged. 3. Enter the messages you like to ‘share’ with your online partners.

13 13 Step 2. For Meeting Participant’s End 1. Click Interactive 2. Then click Online Breeze Meeting. You will find the meeting list if a chairperson initiates video conferencing. 3. Click the meeting title to join the video-conferencing.
