Your Transfer Credit Evaluation You can view your Transfer Credit Evaluation through the admitted student portal - http://www.udel.edu/admissions/mybluehenhome/http://www.udel.edu/admissions/mybluehenhome/ Courses may transfer to the University as either a specific UD course, (for example, MATH 115 Precalculus), as departmental elective credit (for example, MATH 166T Transfer Elective), or as ADMN 166T Transfer Credit Under Evaluation. If any of your transfer courses have transferred as departmental elective credit or ADMN 166T, you will need to follow-up with the University Transfer Center and/or department faculty to have the courses reviewed to see if there is a UD equivalent for your courses. 1

For Courses That Transfer as Departmental Elective Credit (e.g., MATH 166T Transfer Elective) Check the Transfer Credit Equivalency Search to see if your courses have already been evaluated for transfer to UD. Only courses NOT listed in the Equivalency Search should be submitted to departments for evaluation.Transfer Credit Equivalency Search Check the UD course descriptions to make sure that UD has a course similar to the one you took. If there is no similar course at UD, then it is appropriate that the credit remain as departmental elective credit and does not need to be submitted for reevaluation. For example, if you took Forensic Chemistry at Syracuse University, there is no UD equivalent. UD does not offer forensic chemistry, so it does not need to be submitted to the Chemistry Department for reevaluation. It is chemistry elective credit, CHEM 166T.UD course descriptions If UD has a similar course to the one(s) you took and you wish to submit it for reevaluation, prepare the necessary course information (see section 2 of ADMN 166T course instructions, above.) and email (preferred) or phone the faculty contact in the appropriate University department(s) to have the transfer work reviewed. Please note that many faculty members are not available during the summer months.Typically students complete the reevaluation process during their first semester at the University.faculty contact Ask the faculty member to email the University Transfer Center (transfercredit@udel.edu) with the following information:transfercredit@udel.edu –Student's name and UDID –Name of previous institution –Previous course ID (i.e., PSY101), course title and number of credits –Approved UD course equivalent (i.e., PSYC 100), course title and number of credits –Name and contact information of faculty member approving the course Check your student record periodically for the updated evaluations. Meet with your academic advisor to determine how the changes apply to your degree progress, as well as your classification and expected graduation term. 3
