3 COMING SOON…. The Dissertation Game 1. The Dissertation Game © University of Hertfordshire A joint project between Northumbria University and the University of Hertfordshire. Giving instructions on Dissertation chapters and contents, whilst testing students understanding. Will compliment the Research Methods (Online) materials. Currently in testing stage at both Northumbria and UHBS.

4 2. Research Methods (Online) Developed for MSc Strategic Business Information Systems (SBIS) students studying individually across the world. Based on Research Methods delivered on campus. Module created and delivered: UHBS Lecturers (Experts!) create content, audio, transcripts, and review materials. UHBS Educational Technologist create materials, student testing, maintenance. Students work independently online. ML and Dissertation Supervisor support online. © University of Hertfordshire

5 2. RM(O) Demonstration SBIS RM(O) © University of Hertfordshire Two modules for SBIS: Research Methods (Online) AND Dissertation. Also added to the UHBS Academic Skills Unit (ASU) website. Research Methods (Online) materials have been added to Postgrad and Undergrad campus modules. UHBS Postgrad content, but can easily be edited.

6 Future Opportunities Could be used as a top up for other programmes (not just SBIS). May possibly help achieve some of the Flexible and Distance Learning targets Potential to be adjusted and used in other faculties and Universities.
