University of Missouri-Rolla Computing and Information Services 23 “Webmaster” will retain responsibility for overall UMR Web presence, serve as UMR’s Web representative, establishing technical and design standards for official UMR Web pages, maintenance of image library, search engine and supporting database information utilities and coordinate infrastructure change management “Web tech,” under the direction of the Webmaster, will have responsibility for implementation of Web designs and standards, assist Webmaster in implementing UMR Gateway pages and related CGI and other programming, provide technical support to departmental and UA Web staff Working closely together and with CIS, UA and the WebCrew, the CIS Web positions will enhance internal support structure, improve overall quality and consistency of UMR’s entire Web presence, and ensure that technical infrastructure capacity and reliability issues are addressed New Staffing Allocation (cont’d) CIS Web Staff
