Discussion Notch Brook shows a higher (TSS) concentration Direct correlation of (TSS) with stream flow Increase flow, Increase (TSS) Clear cutting and urbanization increases (TSS) as well as surface runoff High (TSS) is detrimental to fresh water fisheries Increased (TSS) decreases the capacity of the Waterbury Reservoir

Conclusion Stowe Mountain Resort’s development is a key source of increased (TSS) New development is planned at Stowe, including 135 acres of trails, and hotels Careful planning should be taken by developers at Stowe to reduce environmental impacts
