2 Reaction Chemistry We decided to create a maximum of 5atms with chemical reactions from HCL, baking soda and water. From our calculations we decided to do 12mL of HCL, 12.23g of NaHCO 3 (baking soda), and 10mL of water.

7 Conclusion During testing, the car went an average of ____. However our results weren't consistent due to K'Nexs falling off or moving, to produce an off-kilter car that caused unwanted friction. When the car ran more smoothly we had checked the K'Nexs stability and structure. Re-design ideas that went on during our experiment was the realignment of our wheels because our first trials barely moved the car. Another major redesign that happened was the testing of multiple caps because major malfunctions occurred when gas was released. We tested over 10 Propel caps to finally find a suitable match for our bottle. After these refinements our car moved farther. If we were to complete more runs we would rebuild part of the car so that the bottle was held in place when we turned the cap ensuring all the released gas was utilized.
