Cost to apply is $55.00 CSU Application Workshops are available Oct. 11 th 1 – 3 p.m. Oct. 12 th 1 – 3 p.m. Students may sign up to attend in the Counseling Office. Space is limited!

UC’s Apply online: www.universityofcalifornia.edu/applywww.universityofcalifornia.edu/apply Apply November 1 st – November 30 th (Website opens Oct. 1 st, but can’t submit until November 1) Cost to apply is $70.00 Application Overview given by a UC Admissions Counselor Oct. 31 st during 3 rd per. UC Application workshops available November 2 nd 1 – 3 p.m. November 3 rd 1 – 3 p.m. Students may sign up for all 3 events in the Counseling Office.

CSU’s: SAT Reasoning Test: Nov. 5 or Dec. 3 OR ACT: Oct. 22 or Dec. 10 UC’s: SAT Reasoning Test, or ACT Plus Writing Note: UC’s no longer require the SAT Subject Tests for Admission; however, some majors recommend them.

Application periods and entrance requirements vary for each school. Students should check individual school websites for application procedures and timelines. Most schools accept SAT or ACT. Application fees will vary. Tuition and overall costs will vary – be aware of out-of state tuition and/or residency requirements. WUE: Western Undergrad Exchange enables eligible CA students to attend schools in other Western states at a reduced tuition rate. ASU, NAU, UNLV, U of Utah, Boise State, U of Oregon are just a few examples.

Application period is in the Spring No SAT/ACT’s required. CCC’s have their own placement tests. MSJC will be on MV campus frequently this year to talk to prospective students. Application workshops will be held at MV on March 27 th and on May 1 st and 17 th. Students may sign-up in the Counseling Office.

Maintain good grades. Do not jeopardize your graduation and/or college acceptance. No D’s or F’s! Maintain good attendance! Senioritis is the “Killer of Opportunity!” Check ABI regularly and communicate with teachers. Grad Faire – October 13 th ! Senior Contract – You signed it - Abide by it! Study Hard, Have Fun & Finish Strong!
