2. Methods of Taking a Survey Storyboard consist of three different methods of taking an online survey. –Through a Cell Phone –Using a Nintendo Wii –Using a traditional computer.

3. Survey on Cell Phone Task: –Take a survey using cell phone. Activities: –Take out cell phone. –Connect to the internet. –Go to survey. –Fill out survey. User: –User who is not always in front of the computer, but have a cell phone. Assumptions: –User has a cell phone. Resources: –Web-enabled cell phone.

4. Poor Little Sammy is bored waiting for his friend at a coffee shop.

5. Sammy figures he should do something productive while waiting. He remembers he needs to take a online Cal Poly survey, so he takes out his cell phone.

6. With his web-enabled phone, he connects to the internet and goes to the Cal Poly survey URL, which was easy to remember.

7. Since it was so convenient to use his free time to fill out a survey, he finishes his survey happily and without discontent.

8. Survey on Nintendo Wii Task: –Take a survey using Nintendo Wii. Activities: –Line up to buy a Nintendo Wii. –Play games until bored. –Connect to internet. –Fill out survey using the Wiimote. User: –User who loves to interact with the Wii. Assumptions: –User has managed to get a Wii. Resources: –Nintendo Wii with wireless internet activated.

9. Billy eagerly lines up to purchase a Nintendo Wii.

10. He sets up the Nintendo Wii and begins playing the game. Billy got tired of the game and figures what else he can do on the Wii.

11. Billy discovered that he can connect to the internet. He checked his email and read an email from Cal Poly asking him to feel out the Cal Poly Alumni Survey.

12. He goes to the survey using the link in the email and starts the survey. Billy had fun while he was filling out his survey. He wishes there were more surveys to fill out.

13. Survey on Computer Task: –Take a survey using a home computer. Activities: –Turn on computer. –Connect to internet. –Connect to survey website. –Fill out survey using the keyboard and mouse. User: –User who wants to fill out survey on his computer. Assumptions: –User has a computer and knows how to operate it. –User has internet and knows how to connect to websites. Resources: –Computer with internet access.
