(Eng.), 240 ECTS credits (4 years) Options: Electronics Design and Testing, Software Development, WirelessTelecommunications Depending upon the selection, the students will acquire deeper knowledge of such topics as real-time software and embedded systems, microelectronics, telecommunications and RF-technology or measurement technologies of electronics production and process industries

6. How to get students to participate? - Easy! They want to join: We offer challenging projects for students who want more than others and aim higher - As students do a lot profitable work in their projects - either for local companies or for the school - we are able to pay them a small (yet big enough) salary. - Students participating this do much more than is needed for their studies: They learn more and gain advantage in job-hunting in the future.

10. Who owns the products developed? If there is no job order, the person giving an initial project idea gives up his rights to the products developed in the project if the project comes to fruition. The School of Engineering owns the rights to those products. Companies paying for a job to be done own the rights for their ideas.

11. What are the costs? We aim to utilize effectively the facilities at the school We use open source software whenever possible The payment to working students is about 1450 € (*1,25) a month, when the student works about 10 h a week. – Paying is a good motivator and brings responsibility to the students. Minor purchases (below 5000 €) can be made TEKES (National Technology Agency of Finland), ESF (European Social Fund)
