1 OUR CONCEPT MY TOP FAVOURITE 5 IPHONE APPS

2 VLOGS Video blogging, which is sometimes shortened to vlogging is a form of blogging through videos, as well as seen as Internet television. It is a very popular category on YouTube For our vlog we have decided to showcase ‘My Top Favourite 5 iPhone apps’ – The five being; 1.Star Wars: LightSaber Duel 2.Gun 3.Fatbooth 4.PAC-MAN 5.Pocket God

3 OUR CONCEPT We have decided for the person in the vlog to be doing something funny with each iPhone app, so as to capture the viewers attention For the LightSaber duel we will have the person dressed up as a Jedi and having an imaginary battle with a friend who also has an iPhone, dressed up as Darth Vader

4 GUN The next app that we will show is ‘Gun’. We will have two people dressed as cowboys having a standoff and using their iPhones as the guns.

5 FATBOOTH We will have the person playing the around with their friend’s face and making it fat on ‘Fatbooth’. As the camera moves, it shows the person’s face has actually become fat

6 PAC-MAN We will have two people; one dressed as pac-man and the other as a ghost They will run around, reenacting a Pac-man game with the pac-man making the signature noise “waka-waka-waka”

7 POCKET GOD Will have one person picking up miniature people to swing them around and do whatever they want with them They could have iPhone app ‘Pocket God’ playing and using that to control what the miniature people are going to do

8 YOUTUBE Youtube.com was founded by Steve Chen, Chad Hurley, and Jawed Karim It was first created in order for friends to share video clips of a dinner party which were too large to email Every week, YouTubers produce enough material for 60,000 full length films. According to Alexa, YouTube is the third most frequently visited website 50% of users are 20 years old or younger

9 YOUTUBE DEMOGRAPHICS We went onto YouTube and used the tool ‘Insight for Audiences’ which helped us show which age bracket would be suitable for us to aim our video at 40.8% of YouTube users are aged 18 – 24 years old. We particularly wanted to aim our vlog at them because of our product, the iPhone 4, which would only be affordable to those in that age bracket as most 18 – 24 year olds have disposable incomes

10 FEATURED VIDEOS On YouTube, it states that featured videos “will be primarily populated with videos from YouTube’s thousands of partners, but might also include select user videos that are currently popular or that we have previously showcased in Spotlight Videos.” Featured videos are the first thing that can be seen when look at the YouTube page along with “Recommended for You” & “Most Popular”

12 NEWSFEED The newsfeed on Facebook is a vital part of how our viral campaign will take off

14 TRENDING TOPICS Trending topics are user created hashtags that gets popular and if the volume is right get featured on Twitter’s list of most discussed topics. Dailybloggr.com created a post that suggests how to make a trending topic “Select a time zone that’s favourable. Gather a group of interested people who can support you. Make it fun and open the hashtag to others to take away.”
