The Foundation UW-Madison had the dairy futures website ~Initially developed in the 1990’s RMA grant to promote the “new” dairy futures and options contracts ~Data and graphics were in spreadsheets ~Some updating was automated, some wasn’t ~Data requirements had outgrown the system

What the Projects Entailed A total “makeover” of the website ~Data moved into relational database files ~File updates were totally automated ~Enhanced graphing capabilities were added ~On-line learning modules are available and being added to ~Industry related publications are on-line ~Various analysis tools are on-line

LGM Insurance LGM-Dairy Premium Calculator A spreadsheet model that can be used for "what-if" analyses on premium levels for alternative LGM program participation using historical data. From Aug. 2008 - Present, actual RMA simulated data used in premium calculations are available. Prior to Aug. 2008, simulated data is used for premium calculation.
