Project Director/Co-Director Desired Qualifications –Will remain at UH through Spring 2003 –Strong leadership and management skills Submit application to Dr. Shiroma via e-mail by 12/5/01 –Resume emphasizing leadership experience –One-page narrative describing motivation for applying –Letter of recommendation by a CubeSat faculty member Applications are reviewed by faculty advisors, posted on the web page, and students submit e- mail vote by 12/12/01

Scientific Mission Ideas (Dr. Bullock shared some ideas on possible missions for the satellite. These included: atmospheric science, imaging, data compression, propulsion systems, optical gyroscopes, study of solar flares, diagnostic monitoring of other satellites)

Subsystems Team Formation (Each faculty member shared a few words on the possible opportunities available in each subsystem. The students then broke up into the five teams shown on the organizational chart.)
