2
Study uses existing substance use (SU) and services data from approximately 800 children with serious emotional disorders, who participated in the 7-year National Adolescent and Child Treatment Study (NACTS). Purpose: Explore the relationship between SU involvement and receipt of SU services among adolescents with serious emotional disorders. GGMM will be used to: 1.examine trajectory class membership for both SU involvement and service use, 2.relate class membership to contextual factors (e.g., family cohesion, gender), 3.assess cross-domain associations among the growth trajectories of SU involvement and service use classes.
