Setting up your clicker- SKIP THIS STEP! Your clicker has a unique ID number of its own; you will need to supply your student ID number so that the clicker ID is associated with you: –Turn on the clicker –Press the * key to enter the Setup Menu (you may need to press it twice) –Use the up or down arrow key to scroll to the ID number and hit Enter (green key with an arrow on it) –Using the numeric keypad, type your Kirkwood ID number (minus the k), then hit Enter –Press the * key again to exit the menu

Adding yourself to the class The clicker operates on an RF system that interfaces with a receiver at your instructor’s computer Once a class has started, it will be broadcasting a signal, indicated by a single letter, that your clicker can pick up The letter is usually C or D; try pressing one of these letters on the clicker to connect to the class

If all goes well … You should find DemoSample as an available class Hit the Enter key to join the class Use the (white) left arrow key to clear the ANS field and prepare for the next question
