1 PAL: 2-D Forces  A cart with a weight of 8 N is on an incline. Assume it is free to roll almost frictionlessly. There is a force of 2 N directed up the incline. Take the x-axis to be down the incline, and the y-axis to be perpendicular to the surface. 1.List all forces that have x-components. 2.Find the x-component of all these forces

2 3.Find the x-component of the cart’s acceleration. 4.If the cart was initially moving down the incline, will it speed up or slow down? 5.What is the y-component of the acceleration of the cart (think about the y-motion; don’t calculate)?
