3. 科技的定義 (Hacker & Barden 1987) 科技是改變資源以滿足人類需求的知識之總和。 科技是人類生存的一種策略。 科技是人們控制和改變自然環境的手段和方法。 科技是一種理論 ( 如科學 ) 的實際應用。 科技是知識的應用和應用性的知識。 科技是社會變遷的主要動力。 科技是人類適應環境的主要工具。 科技是運用科學、材料和人力資源，以達成人類期求目標的歷 程。 科技是運用我們的知識、工具、和技能以解決實際問題並擴展 人類的能力。 科技是人們運用工具、資源、和程序來解決問題或擴展他們的 能力。
