intro to history of computing4 what’s in the exam? how to prepare? define locate select organise present evaluate which dates are more than just background? which few are significant to link/compare ideas which parts of the description of generations are significant, directly comparable across generations, new in a generation write condensed notes, charts make bridges, connections: e.g. how does the textbook link between the highlights in the lecture notes work to understand Moore’s Law: what does it state? imply in actual figures? in other aspects of life?
