Upgrade billing for NCS voice and data network services from Pinnacle v4.5 to v5.4 Deliver voice and data bills electronically instead of on paper Project Objectives – Phase I Project Objectives – Phase II Migrate billing for all for-fee services to Pinnacle Provide one electronic bill for all CIT for-fee services

Electronic reporting Gives departments faster access, more flexibility Saves printing 25,000 sheets of paper/month Enables everyone who uses CIT voice and data services to view their individual usage bill online –Accessed via Pinnacle web portal as PDF Lets each department determine authorization to view other types of bills –Authorization via self-service online interface –Bills accessed via Pinnacle web portal First electronic bills available approx. May 2

Preparing the community Hosting demos and Q&A sessions in March and April for telecomm coordinators and others Sending monthly email updates to telecomm coordinators, department reps, network administrators, and others Creating web pages, how-to materials, and a “if I do _______ now, here’s how I can do _______ online” guide

Report Retrieval Demonstration My role – Authorized Department User or ADU A designated individual in my unit used the self-service online interface to determine what I’m authorized to view Demonstration Using uPortal.Cornell to access the interface for viewing bills Retrieving my individual staff bill Running a report Capturing and scheduling a report to run
