What is Wireless Fidelity? An internet connection that is wireless, freeing users from network wires, and cables. Components of Wireless Fidelity There are two components to WI-FI: 1. A computer device that is outfitted with a low-power radio. 2. Another radio equipment gadget, called access point. Access point is wired to the internet or a local network.

How Does It Work? WI-FI uses radio transmissions to connect computer devices to a network, without using a jack.
