National Certificate in IT 1 year Full Time (Level 2) Equivalent to 4 GCSE grades A* - C Entry requires 4 GCSE’s at grade D with a D/E profile in Maths and English Language or Foundation Certificate at Level 1 Progress to Level 3 courses

National Certificate in IT Four compulsory + two optional units Investigate the IT Industry System Operations and IT skills for Industry Hardware and Systems Installation Customer Support

Vocational GCE Applied ICT 2 years Full Time : Level 3 Equivalent to 2 ‘A’ levels Need 4 GCSE’s C or above, including Maths or English with minimum D in the other Progression to Degree, HND or job (user or technician)

Computing Access To prepare adults to return to education 2 – 3 days per week Must be over 19 years of age Need GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above, and an interest in IT Progress to a degree course at SHU or the College’s Foundation Degree
