9. Assessment of the multimedia There are two parts of the assessment of this unit. –content assessment. The content of this unit has been evaluated by faculty from various departments at SJSU including faculty in industrial technology, history, and engineering. –The second part of the assessment is centered on the efficacy of this unit as a learning modality for students to accomplish the learning goals for its GE area at SJSU –GE Assessment completed Fall 2002 with data from 22 sections over 8 semesters

GE Assessment Learning Objective 1: Students shall be able to compare systematically the ideas, values, images, cultural artifacts, economic structures, technological developments, or attitudes of people from different societies. Out of approximately 513 students assessed, approximately 453 students met this GE Student Learning
