4. 4 Academic Advisement – New Features Integrated with Planner, Shopping Cart, Registration –Planner: Optional tool for students to use; add courses to a projected term –Shopping Cart: Similar to Backpack; allows students to add classes prior to registration for a specific term –Registration: Enrollment transactions; working toward the ability to enroll for more than one class at a time

5. 5 Academic Advisement – Reporting Tools Two different reporting tools for degree audit data Interactive Reports –Used primarily by students as a planning tool; e.g., search for classes based on their academic requirements –On-line, real-time PDF Report –Used primarily to track progress toward degree –2 column/landscape; different layout than v8; easier to read! –Point in time
