3 SA Product Strategy Process 1. Defined window of opportunity: June 05 to March 06 (9 month) or June 06 (12 month)

Determined themes for this product strategy round Leverage existing systems MAIS will prioritize product strategy initiatives that leverage the existing M-Pathways system. There is a good deal of functionality in M-Pathways that is not being used to the fullest capacity. In some cases we rolled out functionality to a portion of the University that may benefit other areas; in other situations we rolled out only a portion of the available functionality. Consulting, training and minor development efforts could help to leverage our existing systems. Cost savings for the University MAIS will prioritize product strategy initiatives that offer the University savings. They could be qualitative or quantitative. They could come in many forms including process and/or system efficiencies, touch-point reductions, data entry at the source, eliminating duplicate systems, paper reduction, postage reduction, automating manual functions, etc.

Project plans will be created and analysis/design work will start as timelines dictate. Status will be reported through scorecards.
