4 Where you need to be when November 16 th – JP Morgan Valuation Seminar Give you answers to the valuation questions Before Thanksgiving Focus on “fit” questions and knowing your “story” Work on your “positioning” December/January Valuation Work on technical questions (UBS Coursepack and Finance Club website) –Prepare “question bank” Accounting General industry stuff January 6 (TTS/UBS); January 7 (mocks)

5 Informationals 11/10 and 11/11 – Citigroup, UBS/Lehman fill- in, other contacts 12/8 and 12/9 – JP Morgan, Citigroup/UBS/Lehman fill-in, other contacts Banc of America – Not necessary to succeed in process Deutsche Bank – Not necessary to succeed in process Be polite and respectful – one bank commented that students were a little aggressive

6 Running Effective Study Groups Goal: Simulate interview setting and get extremely comfortable with your story and answering technical questions Form groups now of 2-3 Start meeting now and often (3-4x per week) Reserve study rooms, but otherwise find a private place free of distractions (empty classrooms, exec ed common area, etc.)

7 Running Effective Study Groups Be HONEST and give CANDID and CRITICAL feedback to your group members Do mock interviews at each and every meeting – don’t procrastinate starting these, just dive in now Do 2-1 or 1-1 round-robbin style Spend time preparing good/diverse questions before each session Should do 5-6 mock interviews/week OCD Career Counselor Mocks as well Keep record of your feedback Support and pick each other up throughout process
