Current SE-DE Process Our Goal To offer the same high quality MSE courses currently available to resident students, to distance education students.

Internal Roles Content Developer: Person who develops the course materials. DE Instructor: Person who delivers a DE course using the course materials. A DE Instructor may also be a content developer. Courseware Specialist: Supports the Content Developers and DE Instructors by developing web products to support a DE course.

External Roles Corporate Student: Person who is sponsored by a company. The company provides a place for groups of students to watch videos, study, meet, work together. Individual Student: An Individual taking an SE-DE course on their own. They are typically not co-located with other SE-DE students.

Products and Services Our Product recorded lectures and course materials Our Service delivery of the product to clients guidance of clients through the material by a qualified DE Instructor provide timely feedback and assistance to clients

Development Product Evolution each course has a first generation and a second generation the first generation product is the initial delivery of the course when it is taped the second generation product is the digitization and packaging of the course for subsequent distance delivery
