2. Overview Purpose of the system The Dental Office Software is a fully automated web site whose purpose is to simplify the tedious tasks performed by doctors, nurses and patients every day in healthcare environment. Below is a list of just some of the features that we offer to users.

User characteristics and functionalities  Patients  Register if new user  View a doctor’s schedule and Make an appointment  View his own appointments.  Nurses  Register a new patient  Create an appointment online simply by selecting a patient and the doctor that the patient will be visiting.  Can view all patients appointments with all doctors

6. Conclusion This software would give a patient the opportunity to take an appointment from home without having to be put on hold on phone or walk in.
