5. Student Expectations _______________________________________________ Generation Y (16-25 yr olds) is hooked on technology and is better educated than any other generation. They see technology as an extension of how they relate to each other. They expect collaborative working environments in which they can work from anywhere, any time, and with anyone. Gen Y’ers are impatient multi-taskers used to instant everything. 7 March 2007
