We re-extend our heartfelt concern to his family and continue to pray for his rapid and full recovery. –The rationale for the current work suspension is neither to assert, nor to imply, blame to any one of you for this accident. That is not my aim, nor would it be appropriate. Rather it is to remind us all that there are serious hazards in our workplace and to provide an opportunity for us all to actively engage in a process that re-invigorates our strong commitment to safety so that never again will we have to experience at SLAC an accident of this magnitude.
