3 New domain names for communities In Australia, web addresses like uow.edu.au are managed by the Australian Domain Name Authority auDA. 10 Registering a community domain name I Applicants may only licence a domain name that is listed in the registry database Applicants may only licence a domain name that is listed in the registry database  So you can’t register illawarra.nsw.au To licence a community domain name, you must: To licence a community domain name, you must:  Be a legally registered not-for-profit entity  Represent the local community  Only use the domain name to operate a community website  Not be an individual person or entity
