1. Slide Transitions Slide Show, Slide Transition opens Slide Transition task pane Practice each option setting to select the transition style, its speed, and the method for advancing each slide To remove all transitions: display the slide and click on No Transition

2. Animation Schemes Slide Show, Animation Schemes to open the task pane, Slide Design, Apply to selected slides: dialogue box. Select from options provided.

3. Custom Animations The user sets the movements for objects: text and images Click on Slide Show, Custom Animations to open the Custom Animation Task Pane Follow the Task Pane directions

4. Link to a Web Page Click cursor on top of the word that is to be text for the link (can also highlight the word) Click on Insert, Hyperlink or the icon Inside Insert Hyperlink box: type or paste http://address Link works only in Slide Show

5. Draw Shapes Click on Draw toolbar AutoShapes, select a style, click on the image. To write text on top of a shape: click on the Text Box icon. Type text in Text Box –Drag Text Box to desired location –Change the Fill Color –Change the Font Color

6. Draw Lines, Ovals, Rectangles Draw a line with the Line icon, change the Line Style; make it a color You can draw many different designs by using Oval and Rectangle icons Move your graphic on top of text. Right mouse button, Order, Bring to Front or Move to Back
