Project Germany-Italy
2
Introduction A year ago, the Theodor-Litt-School of Gießen and the Umberto I of Torino started an European Exchange program between Germany and Italy. Now, in the second year of the exchange program, the students worked out a brochure, which is called “ Gießen: inside-outside” and includes different viewpoints and aspects of the German culture and way of life. We hope that this is only a beginning of a long partnership between our two schools. In mixed teams of Italians and Germans, we worked on topics like: Typical German Food Nightlife in Gießen Museums in Gießen Culture of Hessia Natural environment Free time in Gießen This research is useful to let us understand how life of young people is here in Germany and how Italian and German traditions are different. Thanks to this work we get to know better our exchange partners and now we are looking forward to the second part in Turin…!
