3. Objectives Students will work cooperatively to understand that unique and different cultures are connected by shared values and themes (Kagan Cooperative Learning Course workbook 2000, James A. Banks, Approaches to Multicultural Reform 2004).

4. Objectives Students will identify the elements of the Cinderella genre, and use text structure, such as story elements, to help understand that genre (The Connecticut Framework K-12 Curricular Goals and Standards)
