9 Kristen Nygaard Passed away in August 2002 (8/27/1926- 8/10/2002) Developer of Simula and Simula67, the first OO langauge, together with Ole-Johan Dahl. Also winner, together with Ole-Johan Dahl, of: IEEE 2002 John von Neumann Medal ACM 2001 Turing Award

10 Ole-Johan Dahl Passed away in June 2002, about two months before Kristen Nygaard.
