Careers Centre GDS Stats – Employment Outcomes 2007- general overview: 77.8% of postgraduates were available for full-time employment 89.5% of those were in a full-time position at the time of the survey 5.9% of postgraduates were undertaking further full-time study

Careers Centre Outcomes 26.8% of graduates from research masters/PHD awards were in their first full time employment position This figure is not as high as Bachelor degree students (60.6% in first full-time employment)

Careers Centre Median Salaries The median salary for research masters/PHD graduates was $64,000 Where they were in their first full-time employment, this figure was 6.2% less This demonstrates the value employers place on previous work experience
