Is Everything Negotiable? Signing bonus Stock options Cost of Living Wellness Program Child care Health Insurance Domestic Partner Benefits Flextime & Telecommuting Tuition Assistance 401K & Retirement Salary? -- usually not...... but other compensation and benefits count!!!

Be careful out there... Negotiating can be risky! Be reasonable -- it is not a good idea to set ultimatums unless you are willing to walk away Remember -- a job offer can be pulled if the employer feels they cannot meet your requests Juggling offers is tricky -- do not get caught in the trap of pitting one offer against another If you communicate “this is what it will take to get me to say yes” -- say yes if they meet your requests

Leave nothing to chance Get your final offer in writing No need to accept immediately Accept the offer in writing Decline your other offers in writing
