2 Abstract המעבדה למערכות ספרתיות מהירות High speed digital systems laboratory 2 SDRS is a system designed for the purpose of managing security video cameras. It can receive data from sensors or other systems and affect the cameras behavior. The system can store the data received from the cameras and enable users with different levels of permission to view the stored data and real-time movies, using a user–friendly website.

3 System description המעבדה למערכות ספרתיות מהירות High speed digital systems laboratory 3 The Security & Digital Recording System consists of two major components: Communication server: -Runs as a windows service. -Stores incoming camera frames if necessary. -Responds to incoming alerts. -Controls cameras’ behavior. Web application: - Supplies a user-friendly interface, allowing access to different system’s features.

Once physical elements are added to the system (cameras, sensors, etc…) a suitable software should be added to handle the communication with our system. Software (Running over.NET framework 1.1) Web application, enabling: -configuration of system users & system elements (cameras / alerts devices). -Watching stored movies, real-time movies, incoming alerts log. Storage of incoming camera frames. Handling incoming alerts (operating cameras & sending notifications, according to user configurations). 4
