3. 3 Background  Reasons for upgrade Support for current version runs out Sept ‘09 More stable version of the product Positions U of M to take advantage of new functionality  We will upgrade to the newest version of ImageNow/WebNow available that allows for appropriate testing  That version will most likely be v6.16

4. 4 New Version Available  Version 6.3 release in April  Conducted a test move v6.3 Upgrade scripts ran without error –In 15 days –Would need a way to remediate the length of outage. Retrieving images via WebNow is slow

5. 5 Go/Delay Decision  Recommended is to go With version 6.16

6. 6 Considerations for Upgrade  Production will be available for viewing during the upgrade  The team recommends not adding or annotating images during that time  May scan into production during the upgrade if willing to rescan into new version post go-live  We will keep a copy of 5.4 production for a time

7. 7 Next Steps  Make v6.16 available for super user testing early in July  Notify administrators about change to client  Super users review job aids and submit notification of issues  We will keep a copy of 5.4 production for a time
