Self-Questioning Strategies Generating questions to guide thinking while reading. Strategies: Question-Answer Relationships I Wonder… Statements Request Paired Questioning

Paired Questioning Take turns generating text-related questions and responding to them. At the end, one person summarizes and the other agrees or disagrees and justifies. Can use titles/subtitles, paragraphs, or whole sections of text. Discussion is encouraged.
