2  We had assumed that components should have a rated current no more than 100-200mA above the requirement.  Fred says that components can source 2, 3, or even 4 times the required current as long as they can still operate with low current.  We had assumed that 50mV max ripple was not okay when the requirement was 35mV.  Fred says that 50mV max ripple corresponds to about 35mV typical ripple, which is fine.

3  We want to finalize our list of proposed integrated circuits (ICs) at today’s meeting and send this list to Fred/Keith  Molly and Eric are working on HK circuit design: sensors output voltages corresponding to T and I while DC-DC converter output voltages are scaled and buffered, these analog voltages are input into several MUXs, which can be read by the ADCs in a PIC and transmitted to the GUI

4  Sam is researching our options for ±6V converters; we will have to use multiple chips, since the part we need doesn’t seem to exist  Gwyn is looking into I 2 C: this is how we’re linking the GUI adjustable voltage setting to the circuit

5  Schematic > PCB  Testing plan for circuit components  Program PIC, interface with GUI  I 2 C interface: outputting GUI-controlled voltages to circuit  GUI- make an easy-to-read table that constantly updates housekeeping values, make the voltage controls save to a file  Website stuff- make background information, team page, add schematic to work section
