Current system is insufficient & inadequate. Consists of: Lego generator & leds to measure power output. The channel tube is a box shape made out of scrap material.

11/06/2003By: Strobridge & Sulkoski4 Problem Design & build a wind rotor testing system. Capable of testing wind rotors up to 30 cm in diameter. Automated, so the user can obtain measurements of rotor power output to wind speed.

11/06/2003By: Strobridge & Sulkoski5 Solution Universal hub on generator for blade mounting. Controlled wind rotor with variable direction & blade pitch. Variable wind speed controlled by HC08 & anemometer feedback. Data Acquisition Card for importing power output & wind speed to computer program. Computer program with user interface.
