2. Events - CSR Committee The GACIC CSR Committee participated in the First CSR Event organized by the EJB. Co-organizing the Third ECRC Annual Conference on Corporate Social Responsibility.

3. GACIC CSR-Committee activities : -Global Compact Membership -Member of the ECRC CSR steering committee, which meets every month -Improve coordination and effectiveness of all the CSR activities in Egypt through publication of a quarterly CSR – Newsletter by ECRC -Joining the Egyptian delegation at the Amsterdam GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) conference from 25-29.5.2010 Conduct CSR Survey for GACIC members in May/June, to establish CSR Database, to improve and coordinate GACIC members activities, incl. best practices, CSR Consulting

4. GACIC CSR-Committee current projects : - Develop Awareness events for FGM : Support German “Target” initiative as pro Islamic alliance against FGM ( Golden book ) -World Bank-Inwent certification obtained in April, to provide CSR Training for CSR & Sustainable Competitiveness -Road Safety project - Twinning Project (EU ) till end of 2010, organizing certified training for Bus and Truck drivers, to launch the new Driving Training Center of the Ministry of Tourism in Q4/2010 -Supporting development of a sustainable business model for Bedouin Women in Sinai, to be communicated at Awareness Event at the German Embassy on Sept. 23rd -Support Development of a German Training Academy in cooperation with the GUC, to provide certified Mechatronic program
