9
Zone to Zone Control Air intakes for each zone Factory set
Allows fresh gas into process chamber Improves individual zone to zone separation Improves profile changeover time Adjustable air intake
10
Heated Air Plenum (Air HAP)
3 phase Blower Motor 1/8 HP RPM Heaters Air inlets Blower Wheel High Pressure Product Coming Towards You! Low Pressure (vacuum)
11
Static Pressure What is Static Pressure?
Static pressure is what is developed within the blower plenum to produce true forced convection Why is Static Pressure important? Static pressure directly relates to the amount of heat transfer an oven can deliver The greater the static pressure the greater the heat transferred to the product Static pressure insures uniform convection delivery from the plenum to the product
12
Thermal Effects of Convection Rate
Convection Rate Measured in In/H2O Low High Effects of Low Convection Rate Lower Peak Temp Larger Peak Delta T Thermal Uniformity Deteriorates Effects of Increasing Convection Rate Greater Peak Temp Smaller Peak Delta T Thermal Uniformity Improves 40 HZ 50 HZ HZ 70HZ Peak Temp
13
BTU Closed Loop Convection
Highest level of process control Ensures repeatable heating and cooling transfer, oven to oven, line to line Transferable recipes line to line, plant to plant Heating and cooling convection remains constant Independent of temperature, voltage and altitude variations Programmable range of IWC
14

Key Features / Options
20
Conveyor System 2-18inch width standard, belt or rail, 2-24” optional
Brush-less drive motor Eliminates maintenance of changing motor brushes Automatic chain lubrication Minimizes downtime associated with chain lubrication Flat flex or fine mesh belt
21
Conveyor System Roller system for adjustable edge rail
Stainless steel support shafts for EC and center support Reduced friction Ensures rail parallelism (within 0.040”) Easy assignment fixed vs. moveable rail Allows right to left field conversion
22
Advanced Conveyor Solutions
Precision center support Basic center support Chain pin lengths to 0.120” Minimizes underside product clearance
23
Precision Center Support
Existing Design New Design The Existing RCS design on the left is complex and massive and requires an expensive dual drive shaft The New Center support design on the right can be integrated to our low cost Rail Only drive. We eliminated one Drive shaft and its associated costs by taking off the center support power transmission from the existing conveyor drive shaft.
24
Center Support Comparison
Smaller Chain in one extrusion shown on right replaces larger chain and 2 larger mass extrusions of the existing design. Result is a 46% reduced mass and in smaller thermal footprint as well. New Design Existing Design
