IntroductionIntroduction Sustainable development of local area became in fashion word last years with a very few people knowing about exact meaning of it. We in Eko – Zadar in project development and implementation didn`t know at the very beginning that we are doing sustainable development of the local area.

DruzbAdria Oil companies are lobbying in the Parlament and in the Government of Croatia for Russian oil transportation by pipeline to Croatian island Krk, embarkment to oil tankers and shipping over Adriatic sea.

Nature Park Telascica 1/3 Founded on March 24th 1988 Park area is 6706 ha. It includes south part of Long island with deep bay of Telascica and several smaller islands on the border with National park of Kornati islands. Mir/Peace is the lake on the Long island, it`s 23 ha with 10 m deep. The water is of very low salinity. Majority of land within the Park is in private prioprety. Olive groves were introduced 2500 years ago. Founded on March 24th 1988 Park area is 6706 ha.
